The Newborn Experience - Simple & Intentional
As a mom of 4, I know that the postpartum period is an intense, busy time. I aim to make my newborn session experience calming + stress free for new parents. We offer 3 private + comfortable session location options for your newborn session: Fresh 48 at your delivering hospital, in-home lifestyle session, or an in-studio session in our modern white Rockledge, FL studio. I also provide everything baby needs for minimal, modern newborn portraits including swaddles and newborn clothing options.
You see your newborn as the most perfect little thing you've ever seen - and so do I! My lifestyle newborn photography sessions naturally and artfully document your baby in all their tiny newness. I believe in creating simple but intentional portraits that bottle up the sweet newborn details and your family connection.
I serve the Space Coast of Florida including Melbourne, Palm Bay, Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, and surrounding areas. Delivering hospitals I offer Fresh 48 session at include Holmes Regional Medical Center, Rockledge Regional Medical Center and Cape Canaveral Hospital.
Simple but Significant
I believe newborns and children are perfect just as they are, no elaborate props needed. I bring simple, neutral swaddle options for newborns and allow your baby's precious features to be the main focal point of your imagery.

Our sessions are laid back and baby-led, meaning we take breaks for feedings, toddler snack breaks, and have a flexible workflow that allows us to create the beautiful family imagery you desire, while allowing your toddler to feel that their needs are met.

Every session experience includes both our comprehensive session guide with general styling suggestions, and also a personal wardrobe consultation with Carly for your family.
How do I know when baby will be born?
Babies come on their own timeline, so when you book your newborn session with me, your due date goes on my calendar, and this guarantees you a session date within 2 weeks of baby's actual birth day. I only take on a limited number of due dates each month to ensure I give each family the best experience possible.
Can I include my Mom/MIL/Grandma/etc.?
Grandparents are often a huge part of welcoming a new baby - whether they are in the delivery room with you, watching your toddler while you're in the hospital, or simply the first person you tell the happy news to, they are truly an integral part of welcoming new little ones to the family. Please let me know ahead of time who you'd like to add to your session so we can add extended family members to your quote and ensure we schedule enough time to include them in the session.
When will I get my photos back?
Final, edited digital proofing galleries are delivered 2-3 weeks after your session. Fine art prints and photo albums are delivered to your door 6-8 weeks after placing your print order.
Are siblings included?
Yes, big siblings are absolutely part of your baby's newborn session!
How to Fresh 48 sessions work?
I request that Dad contact me as soon as you are admitted to the hospital in L&D so that we can ensure we have time to schedule your session the morning after baby is born or the morning before you are discharged from the hospital (depending on baby's time of birth). Sessions take place in your postpartum room, and you can plan for siblings to visit during the session if you like. If you know you are having a scheduled c-section or induction, please keep me informed of that as well. This helps everything run as smooth as possible!
